About the authors
Russ Cohen hosts a hockey show on XM Satellite Radio, writes for NHL publications and is a founder of the Sportsology network.

John Halligan (1941-2010) spent 24 years with the New York Rangers as Public Relations Director, Business Manager and VP of Communications. He is the author of three previous books about the team: NEW YORK RANGERS: SEVENTY-FIVE YEARS, NEW YORK RANGERS: IMAGES OF SPORTS and GAME OF MY LIFE: NEW YORK RANGERS.

Future Ranger Great? Check out our interview with Rangers prospect Ryan McDonagh

Recently acquired from the Montreal Canadiens, Ryan McDonagh is a terrific two-way defenseman who hails from Minnesota and was the recipient of the 2007 Mr. Hockey Award. He is currently playing for the University of Wisconsin and he was the 12th overall pick in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
