This Date In Rangers History: March 18, 1970



At Pittsburgh, Ranger right wing Bob Nevin scores the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win over the Penguins. Nevin's goal is the 200th of his NHL and comes on his 32nd birthday. Goaltender Ed Giacomin records his 30th career shutout.

Nevin and Giacomin are among the legendary Rangers profiled in the new book 100 RANGER GREATS.
